教学准备

1. 教师准备：

（1）一顶交警的帽子。

（2）红、黄、绿色的交通指示灯图片。

（3）录音机和Let’s learn more部分的录音磁带。

2. 学生准备一把尺子。

T: What color is the light?

Ss: Red.

T: The light is red. Please stop. Don’t cross.Where are you going?

S1: I’m going to ...

T: （不论学生回答去哪里，教师都可以说）Sorry. Please wait a minute.

T: What color is the light?

Ss: Green.

T: Now the light is green. You can go.

教师请一位学生上台表演开车的动作，并向左转弯，教师这时指着红灯说：

Look at the light! Don’t turn left. Please wait a minute.

并引导该生说出：I’m sorry.

听力理解

1. 教师让学生打开书翻到第56页，并预设问题，让学生仔细观察图片作答。以下问题可供参考：

Question 1: What color are the lights in Picture 1 and Picture 3?

Question 2: What is the man going to do?

Question 3: Where are the boys going?

Question 4: What color is the light in Picture 2?

Question 5: The light is green. Can they go?

2. 教师播放录音，让学生模仿其语音语调跟读Let’s learn more部分的对话，教师注意纠正个别学生的错误发音。
