This period is from Culture 2 Outdoor Activities. This topic is about outdoor activities and countries. It is interesting and related to daily life. So it is a good chance to arouse students’ interest in English learning . So this period is very important in this book.
2. Teaching aims and demands
(1) Aims of the knowledge:
①To learn a new word “hiking” and to read the names of some countries.
②To learn some useful expression I’m . I’m from . I like .
(2)．Aims of the abilities:
①To improve the ability of introducing one’s hobby.
②To improve the ability of introducing oneself.
(3)．Aims of the emotion:
To enable the students to have a deeper understanding of outdoor activities.
3. Teaching important points
(1) To introduce one’s hobby.
(2) To introduce oneself .
4. Teaching difficult points
(1) To read the name of countries.
(2) To master the usage of “from” and introduce oneself.
Ⅱ Teaching methods
In this period, I will use Five-finger Teaching Method , I design some tasks to help the students learn. I will use pair work, group work to let the students take an active part in all kinds of activities.
