He (1371-1435) sailed from China to many places throughout South Pacific, Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf and distant Africa in seven epic voyages from 1405 to 1433, some 80 years before Columbus's voyages.
Zheng He
He (1728 – 1779) was a British explorer, navigator (航海家), cartographer (制图师), and captain in the Royal Navy (英国皇家海军). Cook made detailed maps of Newfoundland prior to making three voyages to the Pacific Ocean.
James Cook
He (1451–1506) was a Spanish sailor. He made four voyages. He is famous all over the world now. People consider him to have discovered America first.
