注：计量名词有：size（大小）、height（高度）、length（长度）、width（宽度）、weight（重量）、depth（深度）、age 、price 等。

汉译英：

（1）这棵树是那棵树的三倍高。（用前四种结构翻译）

This tree is three times/triple as tall as that one.

This tree is three times/triple the height of that one.

The height of this tree is three times/triple that of that one.

This tree is twice/double taller than that one.

（2）他拥有的书的数量是他妹妹的三倍。

（用第五种结构翻译）

He has got three times/triple as many books as his sister.

（3）肉价是去年的两倍。

（用第六种结构翻译）

The price of the meat is twice/double what it was last year.

注意：（1）有时“as+B”可以省略。

（2）记住倍数的位置。

英语强调句

1.陈述句的强调句结构：

It is/was/might be/must have been/can’t be+被强调部分+that/who/whom+非强调部分。

（被强调部分为主、宾、状 ，但不能是定 语、谓语。）
