教学目标：
1. To enlarge students’ vocabulary about personality.
2. To introduce synonyms and antonyms to students.
教学重难点：
1.To make students learn more vocabulary about personality.
2.To make students use these adjectives to describe a person.
教学过程：
Ⅰ. Lead-in
1.Guessing game: Describe a student in the class, and let students guess his/her name.
2.Think of more adjectives to describe a person.
Ⅱ. Presentation
Give students some synonyms and antonyms of adjectives, and let students guess the meanings of ‘synonym’ and ‘antonym’. And then have students guess the meanings of the new words by studying their synonyms or antonyms.
Ⅲ. Practice
1.Guess the words by giving some explanations.
Eg. 1) giving or ready to give freely: __________
2) providing help or always being willing to help others.________
3) kind to others.__________
…
2.Have students describe someone with some of the words that we have learned today.
IV. Homework
Write a short passage to describe a person.
