Step I. Lead-in

Step II. A quick check
1. Blank-filling ---Fill in the blanks using adjectives to get familiar with the two main characters.
2. Brainstorming ---Describe the negative character using negative words
Step III. Summary 1
Summarize all the adjectives students have learnt in alphabetic order.
Step IV. Extensive practice
Varieties of practice are needed to enlarge students’ vocabulary about adjectives.
Step V. Writing
Work in groups and choose at least 3 of the following phrases to make up a short story.
